Everyone Deserves a Second Chance

My name is Marina Momilani Villegas, co-founder of CWC Foundation Organization. I am the fourth oldest out of eight children. My parents were workaholics just to make ends meet to support the family. As year’s has grown many children were made, my mom's role model change from a working mom to a stay home mom. My Father was the only working body to support our family. It was a struggle for my parents to keep the bills paid, the children fed and placed in school, also traveling a distance just to work As a child I have lived in a home then on the beach then back in a home. My parents did a lot of sacrifices waiting for our home from the Department of Hawaiian Homes. My parents still made sure that we went to school no matter the hardship we went through. Now I’m grown with children of my own, I reflex my life back to the memories I will cherish.Still in this life of knowing and able to do the right, this world has come so unpredictable to live day by day. Year’s of planning, but never a solution to solve a problem.
I am pleased to introduce this soon to be Non-Profit to help reach out to all those in need. With all your help and support, we can make a difference in someone else's life.
Where it all started…
A FAMILY'S STORY
ALOHA,
My name is Ira-Chad K. Kala, I am the 2nd V.P. of CWCFO, Before I go on I like to share my testimony on how CWCFO came about. It started right here in my home, my wife, Kellyann K. Kala, President of CWCFO, and I along with our 4 children have had an opportunity to help the less fortunate. My family and I through experiences know how it feels to be homeless and to struggle just to make ends meet and only through the grace of GOD we have survived and made it this far. We were blessed with this 2 bath, 3 bedroom home and decided to open our doors to those who had no home. It has been 5yrs now living in this home. Within those years we have housed 11 families men, women and children from off the beaches and streets. As time went by all were baptized in JESUS name left in a POSITIVE and DESTEND to do good with HOPE RESTORED as they begin to make something of their lives. My family and I as well as those families, have struggled together with limited of means, but through the GRACE of GOD we were able make ends meet.
